Our project is carried out within the scope of eTwinning.
The name of our project is Learning English With Coding.
Our school's Information Technologies teacher Nurhayat CENGİZ carries out the project on a voluntary basis with 18 students, including 5th and 6th grade mixed students.
WHAT IS OUR PROJECT AIMED AT?
Knowledge of language learning and coding 21. it's one of the requirements of the century. In our project, we aim to create stories, materials and games with coding while learning English.
In order to program (encode), we need competent students in the English language. It is a pleasant project where we will combine these two disciplines in one Crucible, recognize and use Web 2.0 tools with fun activities, support language learning from scratch with block-based coding, and provide intercultural interaction.
Thanks to this project, our students will also learn to work in cooperation.

In our project, it is very important that family participation and parents are aware of everything our students do. That is why they signed the documents that they declared that they were aware of their participation in the project and that they were allowed to attend the events.
STUDENT INTRODUCTION AND AVATARS
My students introduced themselves at eTwinning. They needed an avatar that represented themselves when they introduced it. For this purpose, I first taught them how to create an avatar. Then they all created their own avatars. Great avatars appeared. I congratulate my students. All of them were quite successful.
WE DESIGN LOGO
LOGO WORKS ! After our logo making training, my students completed logo studies. As a result of the survey, we chose the logo to represent my team. Thank you to everyone who contributed.

SAFER INTERNET DAY ANIMATION VİDEO WORKS...
We determined the rules that we should pay attention to while using the internet and each student prepared a rule as an animation. We then combined them together to make this Safer Internet Day video. Thank you to my students who prepared it.

WE CODE AN EVENT IN ENGLISH
We introduced English subjects and distributed them to schools and established mixed country teams. After that, each team performed its own task in the scratch app. My students have successfully performed team tasks. Thanks to all my students ♥ In the coding part of our joint project, I think a great project has emerged as a result of their joint work with different country teams and schools. We wait patiently to see how it is combined.

9 MAY eTWINNING DAY

FINAL MEETING ALL TOGETHER
We had our final meeting with all the students and teachers of our project. We evaluated our collaboration, we played. The students were very happy to see the product they had uncovered. It was a difficult process. We all worked hard together and we did it. We learned a lot from each other. We are happy to put forward a beautiful product. Thank you everyone ♥ My students were on teams 3,4,5 and 6. I think they worked great with their teammates. I also thank my students for their harmonious teamwork.
